Airport in East Midlands showcases holiday hotspots

The destinations travel show is about to launch at Birmingham’s NEC and one of the exhibitors is the East Midlands airport where they will be showcasing for the first time some of their summer flight options.

The airports connections to India will be one of the main focuses for their forthcoming promotions, connections will be available through BMI flights arriving in Brussels every day of the week except Saturday.

Passengers are able to fly from the East Midlands to Brussels accessing other connections to the cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.

East Midlands airport are also preparing to offer a range of new flight services to some of the most popular summer destinations including; Oslo, Almeria, Ibiza and Mahon which are to be served by the carrier Eastern Airways via Aberdeen.

East Midlands marketing director Caroline Plant said:

‘We are delighted to be exhibiting at one of the most high-profile travel shows and are excited about the great routes and offers we have in store for our customers in 2009. ‘As well as the welcomed addition of the popular Mediterranean routes of Almeria and Mahon, we are pleased to be extending our long-haul offering with our new regular connection to India.’
