Amsterdam Airport Wins Award

Personally, I love Amsterdam as a city break.  I think it’s one of those places where some people don’t go because they think it has a sleazy reputation still as some drugs are legalised and the red light district et al.  However, once you’ve been there, I believe you’d love it and it seems that the Americans agree.

Readers of the American magazine, Executive Travel, voted it the world’s best airport.  Airports were graded according to different criteria, including their services, facilities and solutions for passengers from around the world.

It is not the first award this airport has won either, earlier this year it won an award here in the UK from readers of the UK magazine Business Traveller.

Amsterdam’s airport, Schiphol, has just started its winter schedule now which will run to mid-March next year.  There are still a total of 17 flights every day flying to the US with different carriers.
