Australia’s ‘Cage of Death’
July
16th
In the city of Darwin in Australia, they’ve opened a new theme park where, on your city break or luxury holiday, you can have the chance to be dumped in a 5.5 metre tank with a crocodile, separated by just 4 cm of acrylic - nice!
The experience has been called the ‘cage of death’ and according to Jim Charles, one of the first to try it out, it’s ‘pretty scary’. Not sure if that’s something I’d like to do or not…
The attraction is located in Crocosaurus Cove - famed for reportedly being the largest display of reptiles in Australia, including 76 snakes, 100 crocs and 40 turtles.
It also has another claim to fame - it’s home to the crocodile from the 1986 Crocodile Dundee film, Burt the crocodile.
Further Points:| Drb Safety Barries offer a good choice of Mesh cages for all your needs. |
