There have just been recent announcements from Austrian Airlines which confirms that the company wishes to increase flight capacity with a confirmed go ahead to provide extra flights for travellers who want to fly to the increasingly popular city of Dubai this year.

Operating from a base in Vienna, Austrian Airlines services their Boeing 767, 235 seater plane which is to be the carrier for more than half of its total flight program, purely taking travellers from Vienna to Dubai.

These recent plans meant that the Austrian Airlines will likely see an extra 20% more of the current seating capacity that it offers per aircraft, until this point they had only serviced medium haul planes to fly holiday makers to Dubai.

The new Dubai route is also to be serviced by a Airbus A320 which has the added luxury of individual sleeping seats with reading lamps and special massage functions for premium rate customers.  Food and drink onboard is also of a first class standard with large choices of menu.

To coincide with the launch of the airline’s new routes they are also offering special discounted prices for certain limited periods.
