Barcelona - Most Visited City

Ah, Barcelona… I have many fond memories of Barcelona… stag nights, drunken parties, salsa dancing…
It would seem I’m not the only one who loves this city, according to figures compiled for the Frontier Tourist Movement survey. Apparently, Barcelona was THE most visited city in Spain last year. 59.2 million visited last year, a million more than the year before.
Catalonia was the most popular region with over 15 million visitors, most of which will have visited Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia.
Barcelona makes a great city break because flights are cheap, hotels are cheap and you can pick up a cheap, bargain holiday at short notice. In fact, I feel a return trip coming on…
