Berlin Celebrates 2009

If you’re looking for a one-off city break for next year, may I suggest Berlin.
Next year is the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, on the 9th November to be exact, and they will be celebrating all year long with exhibitions and celebrations so what a great time to visit.
The greatest celebration will of course be in November so if you can, visit then. There will a great big street party, fireworks, and concerts.
From May to November there will be an open air exhibition too, so if it’s a bit of summer sun you’re after, that might be a better option than waiting til November. If you want to see a city at its best, these are the sorts of celebrations you need to watch out for and time your visit well!
