Biometric Plans for USA

America is always at the forefront of controversy when it comes to new plans and security in my opinion.  Their latest proposal is to ensure all foreign visitors to the USA should have their fingerprints taken to help prevent terrorismand imrpve security.

I profess to being no expert in these matters, but in my hunble opinion, I would have thought you would want fingerprints taken on the way in too wouldn’t you?

Anyway, the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and the International Air Transport Association (Iata) have joined forces to oppose the plans.  Their objection is nothing to do with our human rights or the delays it may cause us, but the fact they believe it would be expensive and they do not want to have to pass these costs on.  What they really mean is that they want to increase their prices anyway, but they don’t want to have to pay towards these things - they want to keep all the profits to themselves.

Boy, I wish I could go on my city breaks without these flights!
