BMI boost their presence at Heathrow Airport
BMI’s recent advertising acquisition at Heathrow Airport has meant that the carrier will enjoy prime positioning just outside the airport facing travellers who are coming into the first, second and third terminals.
BMI’s huge advertising hoard is sat at 3.8 meters high by 37 metres in length in the central section of the large roundabout leading into the International airport.
The advertising board reads: ‘The home of BMI’.
Over 100 million airport visitors are expected to see the advertisement over the course of 2009.
BMI’s management have claimed that the new banner is proper representation of their airline’s long term presence and outstanding service achievements at the London airport. During BMI’s course of servicing flights from Heathrow, BMI, managed to achieve one of the world’s best records for aircraft punctuality in the entire airline industry, Peter Spencer their managing director said:
‘Our excellent on-time performance is a core part of our holiday and business customer offering along with the ability to travel speedily through the airport,’ he added. ‘Since the recent moves at Heathrow, Terminal 1 now handles 14m passengers (compared to 23m at its peak in 2007), which means our customers can get through Heathrow without any unnecessary delays.’
