Chocolate Festival, Melbourne

Many people consider a trip to Australia to be the trip of a lifetime and as you plan your trip there are many cities that appeal. I think of Australia as a combination of outback and several different city breaks in one. You’d obviously visit Sydney, maybe Perth, Brisbane, etc etc. However, unless your a big fan of Neighbours perhaps the likes of Adelaide or Melbourne might pale into significance next to the others.
Well, here’s a big big reason to visit Melbourne (in my opinion at any rate) - the Chocolate Festival. Just the name is enough to send shivers down my spine and no doubt my partner’s too 
Yes, they have a festival dedicated to chocolate. It’s on the 9th and 10th August and comes with taste-testing (naturally!) and chefs will show you how to use it in cooking or to make chocolate sculptures even.
I am off to get my credit card…
