City Break Honeymoons

Teletext has released the results of a recent survey showing that honeymooners in today’s world no longer want the traditional two week honeymoon, spent on a beach, surrounded by other loved-up couples - in fact, the thought fills them with dread.
Four out of five don’t want that. Most people want adventure holidays, city breaks or to stay in the UK. Hurrah, I’m all for that!
The average honeymoon this year will cost about £2500 according to the survey, spending £1000 on flights and £1000 on accommodation and then spending money of about £1000 on top of that. What sort of city break are they going on??
Even more worrying - and no wonder we have such a high divorce rate - the honeymooners thought it would be important to organise activities before they go in order to ‘pass away the time’ - oh dear…
