City Breaks for Investment Purposes
Have you ever loved a city so much that you’ve considered buying an investment property there? Personally I haven’t, but a friend of mine recently came back from Bulgaria, raving about the country and declaring he was going to buy a property out there. He hadn’t actually looked at any properties whilst out there, but still!
So for anyone who is considering buying a property abroad, how would you go about searching for property for sale in Bulgaria, or any other country for that matter?
The obvious solution, as with most information-gathering exercises nowadays, is the internet. Any self-respecting company has a website and the good ones should come up in the first few pages of Google.
To be sure that you have found a good company, be sure to check that the company is registered, be sure to visit the property in person, and get references or details of past customers. A quality company will be happy to answer all your questions, will understand your concerns and be able to help you with the legal side of buying a property abroad. I may have to visit a Bulgarian property or two with my friend, just to help him out of course!
