City Breaks in London

Normally, I would never, ever consider organising a client meeting on either a Friday or a Monday. On Mondays, I’m too tired from the weekend and on Fridays, I’m worried about hitting the traffic on the way home, but last week, a colleague from work gave me a great idea and it’s definitely one I’m going to try out.
If we’re seeing a client, quite often we’ll hire one of the many meeting rooms in London or something to meet them in. We’ll book it for an hour or two and then head back to the office, which can take hours.
My colleague suggesting booking the meeting room close to a Travelodge or somewhere in London, getting my partner to book the Friday off work and then she can go shopping or something whilst I’m in the meeting. We could then just stay there for the weekend and enjoy a great city break in London and head back on the Sunday. It would work vice versa too and I could hire the meeting room on Monday, but I think I’d still be too tired so the Friday seems better to me. I think it would probably suit clients better too as they often see a Friday meeting with me as an hour of not working. Result!
