Classical Music - Krakow
August
12th
Poland, as regular readers of my city break blog will know, is one of my and one of the UK’s favourite city break destinations at the moment. It’s a relatively cheap European break, even with the strong euro at the moment and many holidaymakers might like to time their visit with this classical music festival being held in the city of Krakow.
The festival is being held from 13th to 21st September and is called the Sacrum-Profanum Festival. It celebrates 19th and 20th century music each year but this year the focus is on German composers, which should make it an extra popular one.
Concerts are held around the city in different venues but the exact locations are yet to be confirmed.
