Co-op Travel Says All Inclusive Cruises Are Cost-Effective
According to Co-operative Travel, the largest Independent holiday retailer in the UK, cruise holidays are cost-effective where they are all-inclusive.
It’s funny how they’re saying this now that the credit crunch is in the headlines and we all know that people are now looking more towards self-catering or all inclusive package holidays to save a few pennies. In fact, cruises were really advertised as anything other than cost-effective up until now. Words like ‘luxury’ and ‘holiday of a lifetime’ spring to mind.
Now, cruises have never appealed to me anyway, although I do appreciate you can get to see many countries and cities in a shorter space of time by using them. The thing is, from what I hear, you only get a few hours or a day or two in each port and spend most of the time travelling on the ship. If I want to see a country or a city, I think I’d rather go there and have a little more freedom. Nah, sorry Co-op but you won’t be selling one of these to me, think I’ll stick with my city breaks.
