Cruise to Hong Kong

Hong Kong is generally considered one of the greatest, most luxury city breaks of the Far East and many people would love to go - I know I would love to!
It seems that soon people will be able to cruise to Hong Kong as the city is ready to add a new cruise terminal to its list of attractions. The city government has agreed to fund the development of a terminal and once the port is complete, they will rent the hardware to a company that will lease the hardware so the government can retain ownership.
The port will be ready and fully operational by 2013 and will mean that Hong Kong can compete with the likes of Singapore for cruise itineraries.
Further Points:Rita Lau, Hong Kong’s secretary for commerce and economic development, told Reuters: ‘Tourism is a very important economic pillar of Hong Kong so it’ll be in the interests of Hong Kong to support infrastructure which supports the development of tourism.’
