City Break to Linz

Friday, den 9. May 2008

Linz is Austria’s third largest city in the Danube Valley region and despite its size, it attracts fewer tourists than the more famed Vienna or Salzburg.
Linz is famous for several historical figures.  Adolf Hitler grew up here, the astronomer Johanne Kepler lived here and it was also home to the famous composer Anton Bruckner.
There are […]

Wednesday, den 7. May 2008

If it’s history you’re looking for, head to Buda first to see […]

Sunday, den 4. May 2008

Sometimes, I’ve found a city break bargain so cheap that I just could not resist it but on occasion the airport parking has set me back more than the city break itself! By all means, airport parking is the best and most convenient way to do it - I certainly wouldn’t like to rely […]

The story of the Alamo is famous throughout the world and most people recognise the name.  However, fewer people know the story or know where the Alamo actually is.

Are Package City Breaks Dead?

Friday, den 2. May 2008

I remember the days when the only option we had was to go down to the high street, pick up a brochure, wait ages to see a travel agent, and book a package holiday city break through them.
Nowadays, how different things are!  The advent of the internet has changed many things and one huge area […]
