In all our talk about city breaks, it is all too easy sometimes to forget about our home nation and our capital city of London.
This September, London will host the Design Festival and will attract visitors from far and wide across Europe. It runs from 13 - 23 September all across London. It started in 2003 and has grown very quickly.
Even Trafalgar Square will be taken over by Jamie Hayon who will create an inspired project based on the architecture of his native country Spain.
Artist focussed areas will be concentrated in different areas of the city and there will be hundreds of public projects housed in shops, museums and other places.
