Don’t Forget Travel Insurance on Skiing Holidays

More and more people are heading off on skiing holidays according to recent research.
I’m all for skiing holidays, especially where you can mix them in with a short city break, which plenty of low lying ski resorts can incorporate quite easily. However, there is some concern that climate change is starting to affect ski resorts as many of the low lying resorts are reporting less snowfall than usual in the last couple of years, which is a little worrying. If you have to go to a higher resort, some people get a little sick with the altitude and it can be more expensive too.
It is also a concern that earlier this year, research company Mintel reported that 13 per cent of those questioned admitted that they regularly travel without travel insurance. I hope that those taking skiing trips book their travel insurance!
