Events in Moscow
Moscow, the capital of Russia, is a place most people imagine they will never visit. However, now that the city is open to all, we are only just starting to see the attractions and sights it has to offer:
Red Square - this magnificent square has the Kremlin on one side and the GUM department store on the other - something for everyone!
St Basils Cathedral - a colourful building, fascinating history and a great place to see
Bolshoi - the theatre where Swan Lake made its debut in 1877 and tickets are affordable to see both opera and ballet here. If you’ve never been to the opera or ballet and perhaps aren’t sure if it will be your thing, what better place to make your debut?
Gorky Park - Moscow has many beautiful parks to visit but this one is one of the best. It has views across Moskva River, an ice-skating rink and fun fairs. It is to Moscow what Central Park is to New York
Moscow is a cosmopolitan, bustling city with restaurants, nightclubs and shopping centres as well as the more historic places to see.
