As you can imagine with any country in Africa. One of the main attractions is its wildlife and scenery. When most people think of Africa, they think of seeing animals in their wild when going on a safari.

Ghana has its little gems of natural beauty as well. As mentioned in the previous post Kakum National Park is the park which gets most of the attention in Ghana. However Mole National Park is also worth your consideration when visiting the country. Mole National park is Ghana’s largest wildlife refuge. You can expect to see elephants, monkeys and baboons.

One of my interests of late is Mountains. Ever since climbing a mountain back in 2009 it has become one of the things I have come to appreciate. Whenever I go on any trip now I now look to see if there are any mountains nearby. In Ghana, the highest mountain is Mount Afadjato at 880m. It is located in the Volta Region of Ghana.
