Hatton Fight Will Swamp Las Vegas
In November the next Ricky Hatton fight is to be at the MGM Grand on the 22nd and the hotels are expected to be fully booked up for the event as fans swamp the city.
Apparently, the fight should have been staged in New York at the Madison Square Garden, which would have made a great city break, but apparently, Hatton pushed to move it to Las Vegas, even though that was the venue where he broke his unbeaten record when he was beaten by Floyd Mayweather. Reportedly, he wanted it moved because it would be cheaper for his fans to get to.
For this fight, he is training with Floyd Mayweather’s dad!
Hatton said:
Further Points:“At this stage of my career I am not going to change my style too much, but you are never too old to learn. I have spoken with my team and we are all sure that I’ll benefit from Floyd’s incredible knowledge. The fight against Malignaggi is make or break and I’m convinced this will be the best training camp I have ever had.”
