Hotels in African in the ‘best in the world’ list
A recently published list of the world’s best hotels highlights the excellent quality of the accommodation on offer to holiday makers on the continent of Africa.
The list which was compiled by Travel and Leisure Magazine shows that at least 5 of the 10 on the list of the world’s leading hotels are based in African continent.
The leading UK holiday publication claims that Singita Sabi Sand based in Kruger National Park in South Africa is the top of the list for hotels in 2009, stating that the hotel offers ‘exceptional design, cuisine and service’.
Third in the Travel and Leisure list was Kenya’s Fairmont Mara Safari Club and the Sabi Sabi private reserve, South Africa, Kirawira Camp, Tanzania and Tortilis Camp, Kenya were also featured in the top ten.
India also featured in the list of the world’s best hotel’s as it appears to be offering much in the way of quality accommodation this year, say the magazine, Oberoi hotel chain’s Rajvilas, Jaipur, Udaivilas, Udaipur and Amarvilas , Agra all make the top six.
Triple Creek Ranch in Montana and the Domaine des Hauts de Loire based in the Loire Valley in France complete the list of top ten best hotels
