iPod facilities on Singapore Airline flights
Singapore Airlines has just announced that its Airbus A330-300 planes are going to be offering its business passengers connectivity services available for iPhone and iPods and is going to integrate the same services into those passengers who are travelling in economy class.
Singapore Airlines say that their passengers will enjoy the luxury of playing their iPhone or iPod songs, videos, films or photographs. The airline has already won an award for its in-flight entertainment system, known as KrisWorld which will now also support iPod connectivity capabilities.
Singapore Airlines now claim that they are the only carrier to provide these types of facilities to economy passengers.
iPod connections are being put into at the side of each passenger’s TV screen for them to view photos and read documents or listen to music. There is also a facility being added that ensures USB ports can be plugged in.
The first planes that will have the newly installed facilities will be the A330 aircraft from Singapore Airlines which will be used to service those customers travelling on medium haul flights and will include those passengers who are travelling to Japan and Australia with the airline A330 craft.
