New Cruise Ship Launched by Myleene Klass

Last Thursday, the former pop star Myleene Klass attended a ceremony in Dover to name a new cruise liner for Carnival. The new cruise ship was named the Carnival Splendor and is the first in a new, high class range of liners.
It contains amazing features like a 6,400 square metre spa and will be the largest liner ever to set sail from Dover when it leaves for Amsterdam - what a way to get to Amsterdam for a city break! It can carry more than 3,000 passengers and weighs 113,000 tonnes!
Myleen Klass used her classical skills to mark the occasion by playing ‘I Am Sailing’ whilst a diver climbed up the liner to smash a champagne bottle on the hull.
