New York for New Year

I am so jealous. Here was I, getting ready to book my New York holiday for January, thinking I would be able to take full advantage of cheap flights and combine this with the January sales and now my friend has announced that she will be spending New Year’s Eve in New York.
What a place to celebrate the New Year! New York is no doubt the world’s most famous city wherever you are, and people consider it a luxury to go on a city break to New York, so what a great time to do it.
Times Square has held celebrations at New Year for almost a hundred years now. The best time to get there is no later than 8 pm according to the locals as the crowds will fill the streets. Luckily, vehicles are banned from the central city area from 6pm, which is nice and early.
Although I’m obviously looking forward to my January city break, I think next year I may well consider New York for New Year’s Eve but I’ll see how my friend gets on and will keep you updated.
