Frankfurt is not only a great location for the Christmas markets but also looks a very appealing destination for the following attractions.

Old Sachsenhausen is a place where you can enjoy a pretty fountain and enjoy a tipple of apple wine and Frankfurt specialities at one of the quaint little pubs.

Romerberg is a square which is used for fairs and markets. It is where the picture postcard image of Frankfurt is set. The row of houses in the square with the first fountain of Frankfurt in the middle. The city’s government is located here as well as a statue of Justice, and a plaque in the cobblestones that commemorates the book burning by the National Socialists in 1933. St. Paul’s Church is just a stones throw away, which appears live a very typical German Church which is oval in shape.
