Singapore Airlines gets another A380
Singapore Airlines picked up their sixth A380 earlier this month! They picked it up on the 18th September after a visit to the manufacturer’s delivery centre in France, in Toulouse.
They have another 13 on firm order and another 6 on optional order after that.
They also added another second daily flight between Singapore and London Heathrow airport, which makes this route the first to have one of the superjumbo airplanes running twice daily anywhere. Other cities that have the superjumbo running to and from them are Tokyo and Sydney.
This isn’t the first record Singapore Airlines has set, as they were the first to use the superjumbo commercially in October 2007.
I have never flown with Singapore Airlines so would be interested to know what anyone thought, as Singapore is definitely a city break I’d love to do.
