Stansted Extension
July
1st
Today, Stansted Airport in London opened its new terminal extension - the first phase anyway.
It includes more space for arriving passengers, an extra luggage belt for collection and extra desks for immigration control.
If you go on many city breaks, you’ll probably hate airports like I do, so you’ll be pleased to know that this first phase is only part of a £50 million investment plan. Other phases are due to open by December this year and include more comfortable waiting areas, more space and new shops - hurrah!
