City break travellers to Europe are now able to buy their tickets for adjoining European journeys on the Eurostar service itself, to save them time from standing in long queues and missing linking trains.

According to Eurostar both the Parris and Brussels ticket booths can be prone to lengthy queues and their new ticket availability will be beneficial in saving time for many travellers.

The initiative to sell tickets on Eurostar’s service was following the recent Visitor Oyster cards which are on the rail operator’s services running to London.

The Communications Director at Eurostar is Simon Montague and he recently commented: ‘Selling Paris and Brussels tube and bus tickets and London’s Visitor Oyster cards onboard really helps travellers to speed up the journey to their final destinations.  Public transport is the best value option that allows them to save money for sightseeing and shopping, and helps travellers to reduce the environmental impact of their onward travel.’

Now people travelling on Eurostar’s services have two choices on where to buy their tickets with the additional benefit of being able to buy their tickers in Euros which is great for the British given the current exchange rate.
