Top Entertainment in Singapore

City breaks in Singapore have always been quite popular but they have had to fight it out with Hong Kong for tourism in the past. Now Singapore’s Tourism Board has pointed out several great attractions and events coming up which they claim makes Singapore one of the top entertainment spots, if not the entertainment capital, of Asia.
Next week, they host the Formula One Grand prix, in fact, the sport’s first race to be held at night. They also have their River Festival and other festivals going on.
Next year, they open their first ever casino and already have the world’s largest observation wheel, which I wasn’t aware of but that sounds pretty good.
I’ve not had the pleasure of going to Singapore, so would welcome anyone’s thoughts on it.
