If you ever get chance to visit the Australian city of Melbourne, grab it with both hands.  Here are a few things to do:

Visit Federation Square to see free concerts and broadcasts, see the art gallery and historic buildings

Walk along the banks of the River Yarra to see the famous cricket ground and enjoy the skyline

Go to the Sunday market on Southbank, it’s greta for crafts and souvenirs you won’t find elsewhere

Visit the Crown Casino and entertainment complex for shopping and cafes and nightclubs

Catch the free City Circle Tram to hear the latest attractions and its even a restaurant at night

Go on a river cruise via ferry and stop for lunch by the riverside

Go to St Kilda for the day, visit the theatre, shop and eat cakes (yum!) Stay for a twilight tour in the bay where you can see penguins coming home from their fishing

Deffo one for the diary!
